In December 2016, obtaining the support of Foundation A, the LA-based Far From Moscow festival included in its film section programming such outstanding pictures as "The Good Boy" by Oksana Karas, "The Student" by Kirill Serebrennikov, "Icebreaker" by Nikolai Khomeriki and "Vladivostok Vacation" by Danny Drysdale and Ilya Lagutenko among others. The Far From Moscow festival itself aims at introducing American audiences to the finest examples of Russian and East European culture. Its two major sections besides Films, are Music and Food. The Music section programming features an entire day of Russia’s most exciting modern music and three evenings of performances by the most gifted classical musicians. The Food section introduces guests to the top-3 Russian chefs from the White Rabbit restaurant in Moscow, currently ranked #18 in the world.
