(born 1949) is a St. Petersburg artist, writer and musician. He took up painting in 1979. In the mid-1980s, being one of Timur Novikov’s closest friends, he became the oldest member of the New Artists group, at the same time working as a boiler facility stoker. He also acted as a literature section chairman of the Club of Friends of V.V. Mayakovsky. Selected works by Vladislav Gutsevich are included in collections of the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, the Zimmerli Art Museum in New Jersey (Norton and Nancy Dodge collection of Soviet nonconformist art) and many others.
