Anton Abugov resigned from Sistema PJSFC

Anton Abugov announced leaving the position of the First Vice President in Sistema PJSFC. The resignation is explained by his intention to focus on his own projects. One of them is charity fund Foundation A, established by Anton Abugov and his mother Alla Abugova in 2005.

The Fund is dedicated to the development of culture, health care, medical research and cheritable donations.

Anton Abugov was born in 1976. In 1998 he graduated from Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration with the degree in Management.

In 1995, he participated in developing Russian stock market infrastructure and normative rules. In 1995-2002 he worked as the Director of Corporate Finance in United Financial Group, where he implemented several large projects in fundraising, strategic consulting, mergers and acquisitions in different industries in Russia and Eastern Europe. In 1997-2006 Abugov was an advisor to TAIF Group and in 1999 advisor to RAO UES of Russia. In 2003-2006, he was head of Corporate Finance in OJSC Rosbank.

In August 2006, appointed Head of Strategy in Sistema PJSFC.

Since 2008, Abugov has been the Chairman and a member of the Board of Directors in the companies - leaders of telecom, healthcare, oil, finance and media industries.

Foundation A is focused primarily on three main areas: culture, medical researches and charitable donations.

Abugov supports large musical events and young talented musicians both Russian and international. He also collects important pieces of Russian contemporary art as well as international. Abugov's art collections are displayed in Russian and international exhibitions.

Since its establishment, one of the top priorities for Foundation A has been medical research, specifically in the area of oncology and tumor heterogeneity studies. Public donation has always been a great tradition for Russian charity. Abugov's fund helps people caught in real-life situations such as fires or floods by expendable gifts as well as through charity auctions.
